Bethel is a community that takes seriously the need for discipleship within a group of believers. For Christ did not merely call us to gather together, but that as we go into the world we would make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
As a church, we strive to make many diverse opportunities for growth and spiritual formation possible for our attendees. While our discipleship opportunities are often categorized by age group for organizational purposes, we firmly believe that it is the role of the entire church to be involved in the growth and support of each member.
Children’s Ministry. There are several opportunities for our youngest members of the church to participate in discipleship including Sunday School and nursery care.
Student Discipleship. Our teens are a very active part of our church. Many of them serve on worship teams, participate in Bible Quizzing, and have their very own service on Thursday nights called Teen Extreme.
Adult Discipleship tends to serve as a catch-all for any discipleship group that is not tied to a specific age group. The opportunities include Sunday School classes and times of prayer and reflection.
Prayer is one of the most powerful ways to support each other and our community. Bethel is committed to a lifestyle of prayer and offers many ways for our members to participate in the prayer life of the community as a whole. Please visit our prayer page for our weekly cycle of prayer and a full list of this week’s prayer intentions.
